Dr. Lisa DeLucia
Meet Dr. DeLucia
The Nerdy Stuff
Dr. Lisa DeLucia is a Rochester native who received her undergraduate degree from William Smith College and graduated magna cum laude with degrees in biology and public policy. She received her doctorate in dentistry at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, graduating magna cum laude, and completed a residency in pediatric dentistry at Children’s Hospital Boston and Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. DeLucia is a diplomate and fellow of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Prior to coming on full-time at Webster Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. DeLucia was faculty at the pediatric dentistry residency program at Eastman Dental Center and with the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program at University of Rochester Medical Center, a fellowship, which she also completed following residency.
In 2012, Dr. DeLucia was honored by the Golisano Foundation for her work with individuals with special needs. She is a recipient of the Golisano Foundation Leadership Award for Exemplary Healthcare Services. In 2020, she was nominated by her peers for fellowship in the Pierre Fauchard Academy based on contributions to dental literature, service to the profession of dentistry, and service to the general community.
The Fun Stuff
As a mother to three young children, Dr. DeLucia understands the unique challenges of parenting and working parents. In her (very little) spare time, Dr. DeLucia recharges by spending time with her family (and sometimes hiding from her family for a quiet minute to herself), reading or listening to audiobooks, trying new recipes, checking out area restaurants when she can find a babysitter, and enjoying Finger Lakes wines.
